PBCN Education Future Plans

PBCN Education is the largest First Nation system in Saskatchewan. It has a total student population of approximately 1800 students.

Currently, there are two major capitol projects scheduled for two of the communities within PBCN. The community of Deschambault Lake will be erecting a new elementary school with construction to start in Spring of 2006. The community of Pelican Narrows has a major renovation project scheduled for the 2006-07 school year in the existing Opawikoscikan School. Planning is well under way for this major capitol project. Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation Education Coordinators and Director are actively involved in project team management with each capitol project.
